By train

Woking station is 30mins from London Waterloo.

Regular services run to Woking from London, and across the south east.

The Living Planet Centre is a short walk from Woking station.

Walking from the station:

Leave the station from the exit on Platform 1, signposted Town Centre. Once outside, cross the road and take the pedestrian road to the left of the parade of shops in front of you (Church Path). At the end of this road, turn left then immediately right and walk through the Wolsey Place covered walkway and into the town square.

Walk through the town square, passing Café Rouge on your left and Barclays bank on your right. (Gloucester walk). At the end of this path you should be able to see The Living Planet Centre in front of you. Cross over the dual carriageway at the lights and take the bridge over the canal.

The entrance to The Living Planet Centre is on your left.

By bus

There are a number of buses serving Woking and the surrounding areas.

Timetables can be found on the Surrey County Council website.

National Express coach service number 701 runs between Woking Station and Heathrow Airport.

By coach

Coaches and minibuses can drop passengers off at a safe point on Brewery Road.  Information on parking for coaches and minibuses is available from Woking Borough Council.

By car

‘Brewery Road’ car park is the nearest car park, directly underneath the Living Planet Centre. ‘Victoria Way’ car park and ‘Shoppers’ are both located opposite The Living Planet Centre.  These car parks are all owned and operated by Woking Borough Council, find out about prices and opening hours. Please note that all of these car parks have a headroom of 2.1m.

Directions

Take the A320 signposted Woking from Guildford or Junction 11 on the M25. Follow signs for the town centre, and then the A3046/Chobham Road. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Brewery Road, and the car park will be on your left. For Sat Nav the postcode is GU21 4LL

From London and the north:

  • Exit M25 at Junction 11 and follow the A320 signposted to Woking.
  • Continue along the A320 into the town centre (you will go through 4 roundabouts).
  • You will pass the Holiday Inn on your left, at the traffic lights turn right onto A3046/Chobham Road.
  • At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Brewery Road, the car park will be on your left.

From Guildford and the south

  • Exit at Guildford following the A320 signposted to Woking.
  • Take the A25/A322 exit towards Dorking/Guildford/Woking/A320.
  • At the roundabout take the 2nd exit on the A25.
  • Turn left onto Woking Road/A320. Continue along A320.
  • Turn left onto Chobham Rd/A3046
  • At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Brewery Road, the car park will be on your left.

By bike

A map of the Woking Cycle Route Network can be obtained from the Surrey County Council website. There are cycle stands at The Living Planet Centre.
