Welcome to the 2006 British Environment and Media Awards

Alistair McGowan
This year has been a bumper year for entries, both in quantity and quality. Print (newspapers and magazines), television (news and documentaries), radio, website, and campaign categories have all given the judges many hours of reading, watching, and listening.

The winners from each category, along with the Awareness Award and the Andrew Lees Memorial Award, were announced at the Gala Dinner and Awards Presentation on Wednesday, 22 March 2006 at the East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf, London, E14
