About WWF Cymru
WWF Cymru is WWF-UK's Welsh office, which in turn forms part of the world's largest environmental network.
Based in Cardiff Bay, but covering the whole of Wales, the team covers policy work, lobbying and communications and establishes partnerships with other environmental and countryside organisations to propose solutions and to ensure that environmental and sustainability issues are high on the political agenda.

How Wales fits into the global picture
Many of today's most pressing conservation challenges are global, and some of the most critically endangered wildlife, as well as the most diverse - yet least protected - forests and seas are in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
WWF has effective field projects in these countries and many more, backed up by international policy work. However the origins of many of these problems, lie here in Wales, in our own attitudes and behaviour, and the policies of our governments. That is why WWF Cymru is working with the National Assembly for Wales and other organisations in Wales to reduce our impact on the planet through the Ecological Footprint.
WWF Cymru is also working to safeguard the marine environment through calling for a more co-ordinated legislation approach through its marine policy work. Promoting more use of renewable energy in Wales is also a priority for WWF Cymru as the threat posed by global warming means that climate change is now one of the biggest challenges facing our future.
Meet the team...
Morgan Parry, Head of WWF Cymru
Morgan leads the team and represents WWF in the media and with our partners in Wales. Backed by the policy and communications resources of the Welsh staff and UK organisations, he seeks to influence decision-makers on issues such as marine legislation, sustainable development and climate change. Morgan is a Board Member of the Sustainable Development Forum for Wales.
Helen Potts, Team Co-ordinator
Helen co-ordinates the plans and activities of the WWF Cymru team, and provides financial and administrative support together with general office management services.
Kim Richards, Acting Communications Manager
Kim oversees WWF Cymru's communications work in Wales. She identifies and coordinates activities that aim to secure the highest favourable brand profile for WWF amongst its key target audiences in Wales. She leads WWF Cymru's campaigning work which includes organising a range of media and consumer friendly activities.
Anne Meikle, Policy and Advocacy Manager
Anne's role is to ensure that WWF Cymru has the evidence base to develop policy and strategy to effectively influence decision makers. She works closely with the communications team to develop and execute these campaign strategies. She will also seek opportunities to work with partners to take forward the agenda in Wales.
Camilla Horrox, Press and Media Officer
Camilla's main responsibilities are to raise WWF Cymru's profile and to communicate key messages to the Welsh press and media. She writes press releases, arranges events and updates and maintains WWF Cymru's website to enable us to engage potential campaigners and to inform the public of WWF Cymru's work.
Nichola Starkey, Policy Officer
Nicky's role within the team is to develop and advocate WWF Cymru's policy positions to key audiences in Wales. Nicky is the main point of contact with civil servants in the Welsh Assembly, its agencies and partners, and works to promote WWF's position on legislation and policy affecting the environment.
Dr Iwan Ball, Marine Policy Officer
Iwan's role is to develop and advocate marine policy positions in the Welsh context on issues prioritised by the UK programme, and the Wales Strategic Plan, engaging with stakeholders and other audiences in Wales as determined by the communications strategy.
Dr Lyndsey Dodds, Marine Policy Officer
Lyndsey's role is to inform and develop marine policy in Wales, with a particular focus on the promotion of a Marine Spatial Planning and integrated licensing system for our seas. She works with a number of partners, as well as government and stakeholders, to advocate WWF's position on improving the protection and management of the marine environment.
