Programme Manager – WWF Thames Programme
We are currently looking for someone to lead on the delivery of a high profile programme that seeks to ensure better management of the country's most famous river in the face of climate change.
WWF-UK addresses global threats to people and nature such as climate change, the peril to endangered species and habitats, and the unsustainable consumption of the world's natural resources. We do this by influencing how governments, businesses and people think, learn and act in relation to the world around us, and by working with local communities to improve their livelihoods and the environment upon which we all depend.
As Manager of WWF's Thames Programme you will lead the delivery of a high profile programme that seeks to ensure better management of the country's most famous river in the face of climate change. You will be part of a dynamic and innovative team that plays a critical role in WWF's efforts to protect, manage and restore freshwater ecosystems across the world. As well as working closely with a range of colleagues here in the UK, you will also be an integral figure in the HSBC Climate Partnership – a global effort to improve the environment and the lives of millions of people in the UK, India, China and Brazil.
