London to Paris 2012

Bonjour!

We're very excited about adding this event, which promotes a great sustainable form of transport, and we’d love for you to join our London to Paris team!

This long-weekend challenge links two great European cities, London and Paris, and will cover approximately 300km in 3 days.

As you make your way through the much loved English and French rolling countryside you’ll pass some of the most beautiful historic towns and quaint villages. Arriving in Paris you’ll cycle along wide Parisian boulevards and finish at the city’s most famous landmark, the Eiffel Tower.

This challenge will test you but will give such a sense of achievement – you won’t want the weekend to end. The 4 day itinerary:

DAY 1: Cycle from London Borough of Bexley, through Kent and along edge of North Downs to Dover. Ferry to Calais then coach transfer to Dieppe. 116km
DAY 2: Quiet tree lined roads and sleepy Normandy villages to Gournay en Bray. Some challenging hills to conquer en-route! 80km
DAY 3: Ride from Gournay en Bray to outskirts of Paris. Reach city centre via the famous Bois de Boulogne park. Finish under Eiffel Tower. 114km.
DAY 4: Explore Paris before returning to London on board Eurostar.

There are 2 payment options:

Option 1
You pay the £150 registration fee and commit to raising at least £1,200 by 10 July 2012. If you want to do this option let us know by completing our short online application form.

Option 2
You pay the full tour cost: £745 (including the £150 registration fee), and then raise as much as possible for WWF.

IMPORTANT
Your passport must have at least six months to run from the date you return to the UK post-event.
