Adam King - Pandamonium 1
Adam King
No Panda is an Island
Mixed media assemblage
H 250 x L 150 x W 150 cm
Lot no: 4
King assembled materials from the urban environment to create a 3D landscape of growth and decay, in which he explores the diversity and interconnectedness of living things and the fragility of the natural world.
“The work was inspired by a TV documentary I saw, exploring what would happen to Earth if people suddenly disappeared. In my piece, references to man are pushed into the background as nature takes over. The lively colours suggest hope and optimism and celebrate the possibility of new beginnings.”
Estimated value: £4,000 - £6,000
