Ben Fogle: I'm cycling for the planet

Adventurer Ben will take on a night-time cycling challenge chosen by WWF supporters

WWF Ambassador and all round adventurer, Ben Fogle, is getting ready to take on a night-time challenge to cycle 100km around key London landmarks. Ben, who is passionate about the need to protect our planet, was given the challenge after WWF’ supporters voted on which of three sporting events he would take part in to raise funds for our work. WWF’s supporters voted in their thousands and now Ben is set to take part in the NightriderTM event on the night of the 9th of June.

Adventurer Ben is training for the punishing 100km bike ride, and it sounds like he’s ready for the challenge. Ben said: “I love going on my bike and being able to cycle past London's iconic landmarks at night will be a magical experience.”

WWF's Lucy Parratt said: "We all know Ben is super-fit, but cycling in the dark will be a new challenge for him. Ben is a great example of someone who is prepared to go the extra mile for something he believes in – the future of the planet"

Ben Fogle is one of millions who are doing something every day to help protect the planet. The Panda Made Me Do It is a growing community of people who are not just saying they want to make a difference, they're doing something about it!
