HSBC makes savings count for WWF

Wednesday 7 March 2007
Following a successful HSBC online initiative in January, which contributed £50,000 to WWF, the bank has introduced a new scheme to help charity.
The latest initiative will benefit three environmental charities - WWF, Earthwatch and The Climate Group - and is a clear indication of HSBC's commitment to environmental issues.

HSBC will donate £2 for every Online or Regular Saver, Guaranteed Capital Account, High Interest Deposit Bond, Cash Mini ISA or Child Trust Fund opened in March or April. The final sum raised will be divided equally between the three participating charities, and will provide WWF with vital funds to support conservation projects around the world.
