Congo, Rwanda and Uganda united to save mountain gorillas

WWF applauds the formation of a tri-nation transboundary conservation plan in central Africa to save the last remaining mountain gorillas in the world.
The protected area authorities of Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo launched their ten-year Transboundary Strategic Plan for the Central Albertine Rift Protected Area Network on 20 February 2008 in Kampala to protect the last 720 mountain gorillas from extinction.
