WWF TV channel launched
Friday 4 July 2008
The launch of a dedicated WWF TV channel will make campaigning videos of the world's leading independent environmental organisation even more accessible to a worldwide audience.
WWF has a long track record of using film and video to raise awareness of environmental challenges and the web to inspire audiences and create change. The new WWF channel – which can be accessed at the leading online environmental TV site, green.tv – provides viewers with new opportunities to view WWF videos.
Daniel Graham, WWF International's director of online resources, said: "green.tv allows WWF to distribute full-screen internet TV to audiences worldwide. Our green.tv podcasts will also reach iTunes users around the globe, enabling us to get our messages out to more people than ever before."
To access the WWF channel, visit www.green.tv/wwf. You can also access it from the 'Channels' tab on the green.tv homepage and via the WWF International website.
