Christmas quiz
It was another successful night at WWF Cymru's 2007 annual Christmas pub quiz, held in Bar Cwtch, Jolyons Hotel, Cardiff. Much fun was had, with representatives from political parties, government agencies, government advisers and the media in attendance.
Last year, Plaid was the big political winner. But this time WWF wanted to give the Welsh Assembly Government and its advisers a run for their money, so they also invited members from the Welsh press and media to form a team.
After fierce competition for the cuddly panda, it was the Environment Agency who ended the night as overall champions. The Tories were the top political team.
The final scoreboard was: Lets get quizzical (EA) – 34; Climate change champions DESH (Department for the Environment Sustainability and Housing) – 32; Windy Miller's renewables (Cons) – 28.5; All donations gratefully accepted (Lab) – 28; Policy of silence (Lib Dems) – 27; Deshporados (DESH) – 27.
