WWF's Global Tiger Strategy
WWF has identified 25 critical habitat areas where tigers need protection. Our strategy is to:
  • support anti-poaching campaigns;
  • assist the monitoring and control of illegal trade;
  • work to strengthen the protection of tiger habitat whilst helping to reduce local conflicts between tigers and people;
  • implement training programmes for tiger researchers and protected area managers;
  • raise public awareness of the plight of the tiger.
