A very special 50p coin

To celebrate WWF’s work to help safeguard the future of our planet, the Royal Mint has released a special new WWF 50p coin.

The coin shows 50 icons representing aspects of our work. You may even find it in your change next time you go shopping – keep your eyes peeled for the panda!

Join our Treasure Hunt

To have a little bit of fun with this special 50p coin, we have created a fantastic online treasure hunt! To take part, just hunt for five of the icons from our 50p coin, which we’ve hidden around our website. Each time you find one, you can click on it to find the next clue. Make a note of each icon you find...you'll need all five to enter our draw to win a fantastic prize. There is one Flip Ultra camcorder to be won for the overall winner and ten year-long snow leopard adoptions, coin presentation packs and The Panda Made Me Do It t-shirts for the runners up. The draw will close on 26 March 2012 and all winners will be notified by 13 April 2012.

WWF’s 50p coin, created by award-winning graphic designer Matthew Dent, shows our panda logo surrounded by 50 images symbolising our environmental and conservation work.
