Simon Burall

Simon is Aid Architecture Fellow at the Overseas Development Institute, where he is working on issues of aid effectiveness and reform of the international aid system including bilateral donors, the UN and World Bank. He is particularly interested in building Southern engagement in related global policy debates.

Previous to this he was Executive Director of the One World Trust for seven years (which focuses exclusively on accountability issues within global organisations and looks at the changes required within global organisations in order to achieve the eradication of poverty, injustice and war) where he built up a good knowledge of IGOs, TNCs and NGOs. He worked with WWF International on their accountability work and has had close links with people within WWF-UK. He was until recently a Trustee of VSO.
