World governments have an opportunity at COP17 in Durban to put the global climate talks back on track. They can choose to act to prevent runaway climate change, or they can allow short-term national interests to set us on a disastrous path towards a 3-4°C warming world.

- Heard of SEFA? The ‘Sustainable Energy For All’ initiative is the baby of UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon*. SEFA was launched this year to jumpstart urgent global action on the vital issue of sustainable energy - especially for the world’s poorer countries. - Today sees G20 ministers arriving in the UK from all over the world to attend the third Clean Energy Ministerial.
