Global climate deal campaign
How would YOU solve the economic and environmental crises? Which policies would YOU choose to avoid future crises – economic and environmental? Could YOU lead us into a brighter, cleaner, fairer future?
Here's your chance to FACE THE G8
On 8 July, leaders of the world’s richest and most powerful countries, the G8, will meet to discuss the challenges our world is facing: poverty, economic crisis and climate change.
Join the debate and FACE THE G8 in our interactive game where you will make a poster, choose a slogan and decide how to act on the big issues. Watch the video to see how...
Your poster will be delivered to the G8 leaders before they meet in Italy on 8 July, so they know we’re watching and counting on them to make the right decisions for a better future for people and the planet.
WWF's Earth Hour – the launchpad for our global climate deal campaign – was a huge success. On 28 March 2009, hundreds of millions of people sent a dramatic visual message to world leaders about the need to tackle climate change when they meet at the UN summit in Copenhagen this December.
See how the UK plunged into darkness for WWF's Earth Hour on 28 March 2009.
How you can help us
It's crucial we all keep the pressure up over the coming months.
As the world’s largest independent conservation organisation, WWF is fortunate to have people working on climate change all over the world – from scientists in the Arctic and Amazon to campaigners in India, the US and the EU.
We'll be there every step of the way to Copenhagen, and we'll need your help at a few key points throughout the year, so please stay involved.
Together we can make sure 2009 goes down in history as the year the world got serious about tackling climate change.
