Big Forest Picnic
A big THANK YOU to everyone who went down to the woods on Saturday 20 August for WWF's Big Forest Picnic, a UK-wide event organised in partnership with VisitWoods and Progressio.
At seven events around the UK from Devon to Livingston in Scotland people celebrated forests by enjoying storytelling, natural art, woodland walks, music and more, and learning how we can all help protect forests by choosing FSC certified wood and paper.

Results of the UK's favourite forest story
The final votes were cast in our search for the UK's favourite forest story, with Rudyard Kipling’s classic ‘The Jungle Book’ winning out over other popular tales such as Lord of the Rings and Winnie the Pooh. Here's the full story.
Help support world forests
You can help protect the people and species around the world who depend on forests by choosing FSC-certified wood and paper products. FSC-certified wood comes from responsibly-managed forests. Find out more about our What Wood You Choose? campaign.
