The WWF and BT Green Ambassador scheme aims to encourage a new generation of sustainability champions. It provides everything you'll need to set up or reinvigorate your school's green teams.

Green teams are great for engaging pupils in a range of activities. They help build communication and team skills, and confidence. The scheme is designed to help pupils take ownership of sustainability in your school. That's not all: successful green teams can help reduce schools' carbon footprints and save money!

Green Ambassadors is a pupil-driven scheme. We've designed materials that'll engage, inspire and motivate them to take action. Your free Green Ambassadors schools' kit contains everything your pupils will need to run a successful green team:
 

• A Green Ambassador team kit with information and guidance.
• Individual kits to inspire and reward each member of the green team.

You can also download inspiring sustainability teaching resources and pupil worksheets. They'll help you communicate the green team's efforts to the whole school. And the teacher handbook provides useful tips and guidance on mentoring and supporting your Green Ambassadors!

Eco volunteers
We've teamed up with BT to offer you extra support. Committed BT education volunteers will be available to help the green team make their ideas reality.
