Rag and Bone

A pair of street-wise foxes that go out on the town at night to feed on the left overs. "Yeah! Toothsome! The bins were overflowing with grub - burgers, pizza's, fried chicken, curry and shakes - all there for the taking" said Bone.

LT250

A bright geeky laptop that speaks in a robotic voice. "I have crashed. Rebooting...scanning location: Overgrown allotments with vegetation, minibeasts and mammals."

Carry

A plastic bag who has a solo singing 'Carry On and On' sung in country and western style with a line dance by the carrier bag chorus. "All made up in glossy plastic and designed to look fantastic, stacked up at the supermarket checkout."

Cash

A down-and-out supermarket trolly with a wonky wheel. Cash and Carry relive the old days of being together in the supermarket. "C'mon then! All aboard the Fast Food Express!." Carry and the plastic bags climb into the trolley and Cash careers around whilst sing a solo 'Fast Food'.

Grub, Maggot and Wormy

Industrious minibeasts - the original recyclers. They have a singing part 'Dirty Rotten Decomposers'. As the minibeasts sing they do a crazy digging dance, sending soil and compost flying everywhere. Watch out audience!

Stickle and Tickle

A pair of carefree sticklebacks swimming in the pond which is full of litter, plastic bags and bottles and a dirty oil can called Slick. Stickle and Tickle also have a solo singing 'In a Moment'.

Drip

Sniffy, smelly fridge full of over-packaged junk food. Drip is very sad little fridge 'We don't belong in paradise. We'll end up in a landfill site' Sniff!

Velocity

An abandoned rusty mountain bike "I used to be super-fit until some kid nicked me and dumped me here. Now my tyres are flat and my chain's gone all rusty. Eek! Pardon me." says Velocity.

Bulky waste

Three actors speaking in unison make up this tatty, warm-hearted sofa. "Ouch! Don't mind me, dear. I'm such a big old softy, they all crash out on my lap. Make yourself comfy, pet, you're going to be here a long time" says Bulky waste in unison.

Goggle box

A black and white tv with a 'BBC' accent "What? What? Sorry! Must have switched orf! Been a bit orf colour lately" says a very sleepy Goggle box.

Slick

An unpredictable, menacing fossil fuel trapped in a can. Slick is the bad character in this musical. Slick also has a solo singing 'A date with mother nature'. "I can make alot of trouble, overnight my price can double,and my power is second to none."

Wasteland warriors

A group consisting of Spike a fitness freak, Grandad a sentimental pensioner, Sim a computer geek, Charlie adventurous, Krish a senseitive and imaginative, Nicky an industrious child, Jo Jo a cute todler, Marigold who is bossy but well meaning lady and Jess a practical young person
