"ECO's creative music and drama workshops which began in schools in September 2008 and were delivered by a team of professional musicians and actors from the English Chamber Orchestra, led by myself and most ably supported by students from the Royal College of Music.

"Prior to commencement of the wide ranging project, participating students benefited from a training workshop and they were wonderfully willing to step outside of their comfort zone as musicians and create Arctic Landscapes with their bodies and learn the Dance of the Villagers of Na Luum Ca.

"We can recommend this as being an overwhelmingly inspiring experience for all of us – from the workshop teams to the children and teachers. Our stories and creative ideas will be available for you to share and our advice for you to use to kick start your own work should you so desire."
