Christ Church School

Art

Christ Church School have two directions which they are exploring:

  • Making sculptures out of carpet rolls and news paper. Pupils have currently produced a whole family of giraffes or a pod of whales.
  • ‘The Day the Whale the Came’ - a sculpture made from plastic bags and wire which will form a water butt to water their plants in the summer.

Singing

Pupils from Year 4 to 6 are learning the songs from One Sun One World in  music lessons. The school are using the songs to further develop their musical education and to discuss a variety of issues that are important both for us and WWF, such as peer pressure, recycling and deforestation.

Why take part?

"This has become a real team effort. The children are really excited about performing the Royal Albert Hall."
