ABOUT 'THE FOOD CONNECTION' WORKSHOP
The visit begins with an exciting quiz around WWF’s interactive exhibition to find out about the variety of food chains in the animal world. With the help of a large world map, a giant burger and many fun props, pupils then investigate how ingredients for some of their favourite foods are produced. They plan a meal for healthy eating and a healthy planet and produce an advert to promote and share their new recipe.
All WWF workshops are free but we welcome a suggested donation of £2 per child.

"The Food Connection workshop is a brilliantly conceived workshop that promotes an awareness of where our food comes from and how it is produced. The children loved the activities that combine creative learning with an understanding of geography, food nutrition and sustainability. Highly recommended!"
