Forest Pathways Report 2023
Forests are essential for nature, people, and a stable climate – in the UK and around the world. But we’re failing forests, and all the people and wildlife who depend on them.
Protecting forests is one of the few aims that countries and political parties across the world can agree on. It’s enshrined in multiple international treaties and goals. Yet, we are failing to protect our forest life system. Forest loss and degradation is still getting worse, despite every pledge and declaration to protect them.
Our new landmark report, Forest Pathways, shows for the first time the pathways needed to start meeting global forest goals and bring our forests back to life.
