Sky Rainforest Rescue was a unique collaboration between WWF and Sky between 2009 and 2015 that helped saved a billion trees in the state of Acre in north west Brazil. This report reflects on the impact of the campaign – from working directly with farmers and schoolchildren living in the Amazon to help establish sustainable livelihoods that don’t involve cutting down trees, to making the Amazon matter to millions of people in the UK and Ireland through inspiring programmes and interactive experiences.
