Our partnership has worked on-the-ground to tackle some of the key pressures affecting our rivers whilst pushing for improved water management to ensure the changes are sustained.

Together, we are working with farmers in Norfolk, Kent and Greater London to deliver water sensitive practices that will reduce the pollution currently harming the catchment’s chalk streams. This includes on-farm interventions, such as installing silt traps to reduce sediment running off fields into rivers.

We are also sharing the lessons and results of this approach with farmers, businesses and government through workshops, case studies and visits, to prompt further action by others.
