Trees dropping their leaves? Time to scoop some up, grab some paint and get crafty!
Put down some old paper, cardboard or a cloth to protect your work surface, and paint a thin coat of paint on the back of a leaf. You really won’t need much paint at all, so just put a bit on your brush.
Carefully put the leaf on your paper, paint side down.
Using your finger, gently push down on the leaf, making sure all the leaf has been pressed against the paper.
Carefully peel the leaf off the paper.
Repeat the process with all your leaves. Have fun experimenting with different types of leaves and different paint colours. Make different patterns on the paper, too.
When the paint’s dried, you can always add some extra details to the leaves with a pen to turn them into something else!
