Welcome some wildlife to your home with our paper ladybird and springtime bunny
Ask an adult to help!
Cut a circle of card that’s about 10cm across. Then either copy our pictures or download our template (below) to draw the head and legs, and cut them out too.
Cut the brown A4 sheet lengthways into eight strips about 2cm wide. Remember to draw a face on the head.
Glue the head and legs under the base so they stick out (have a look at the photo for a guide).
Take a paper strip and fold in about 1cm at each end. Glue the folded tabs to the base to create a curved ‘handle’. Repeat this with all the other strips, working your way around the base until you’ve got a rounded bunny shape.
Put glue at the bottom of your bunny legs and head then fold them upwards. Press them gently against the sides of the bunny until they stick. Glue on your ball of cotton wool to make a tail.

Cut the red A4 sheet lengthways into eight strips about 2cm wide.
Glue the head and legs under the base so they stick out (check the photo for a guide).
Take a red paper strip and fold in about 1cm at each end. Glue the folded tabs to the base to create a curved ‘handle’. Repeat this with all the other strips, working your way around the base until you’ve got a domed ladybird shape!
Glue the spots to the ladybird’s back. If you like, you can cut shapes from white paper to make a face – take a look at the photo below for a guide.
