UK shorelines are bursting with o-fish-ally awesome wildlife! You can find lots of sea creatures and plants hidden in the rock pools at our beaches – you just have to look closely. Get to know some of them by matching each picture to its name. Good luck!

Rock pools are always changing! They form when the tide goes out, leaving pools of seawater full of cool creatures. When the tide returns, the water fills the pools and sweeps the tiny world back into the sea. That’s tide-tastic!
