The Living Planet Centre

Welcome to the Living Planet Centre, the home of WWF-UK.

About the Living Planet Centre

We are proud to introduce you to the home of WWF-UK. One of the greenest buildings in the UK, Living Planet Centre is not only the heart of the charity, but also offers a fantastic event venue, right in the heart of Woking, Surrey just 25 minutes from London.

The Living Planet Centre shows that, through the smart use of design, materials and technology, it’s possible to create a state-of-the-art building with minimal environmental impact. BREEAM Outstanding status confirms its place as one of the greenest buildings in the UK, and the RIBA National Award, recognises its architectural significance.

Book a Group Tour

Gather your friends and family together and book a group tour of our award winning building.

Our Standard Group Tour takes you behind-the-scenes to find out the story of the Living Planet Centre, its special design features and how it enables staff to 'Walk the Talk' at work.

For families with primary school age children (aged 5-11) we can include a 'Meet the Green Ambassadors Trail" for the children. Look out for our Green Ambassadors: Brick, Leafy, Switch, Tap, Crush and Wheel as you go around the building and complete the quiz. Please specify the tour most suitable for your group at the time of booking.

Please note:

  • Tours are for groups only (minimum of five people, up to a maximum of 20) and are subject to availability.
  • Tours are conducted by WWF staff, so please provide as much notice as possible. Ideally at least two weeks notices around busy time periods – such as Christmas and School holidays.
  • We are currently not able to accommodate school or youth group visits. For learning resources and workshops, please contact our Education and Youth Engagement team by emailing: education@wwf.org.uk

We no longer have any availability until after end of November 2023

What our visitors say

"The venue is ideally suited for easy access, being close to the station and car park, the conference hall itself is big but not overwhelming and having the mezzanine outside for drinks, food and networking works really well.

I have no hesitation in recommending the Living Planet Centre as THE place to hold a successful event."

- Pauline Hedge, Easily England

“Our recent event at the Living Planet Centre was a complete success. We were really impressed with the care and attention given by staff throughout the entire process, from planning to clean up. We’d hold another event at the building in a flash.”

- Nathaniel Aaron Moore, Hopkins Architects
