Eating for Net Zero: Technical report

Eating for net zero: how diet shift can enable a nature positive net-zero transition in the UK is a report is based on technical analysis commissioned by WWF-UK and conducted by Blonk Sustainability Tools in 2021-22, developed with the help of Optimeal 3.0 – an optimisation tool applying a technique called quadratic programming. This approach finds a unique combination of foods in the diet (in this case Livewell) that meet a number of constraints while staying as close to the current diet as possible.
