Prime Minister must make the most of COP30 visit, says WWF

Tanya Steele, WWF’s chief executive, said: “We warmly welcome the Prime Minister’s decision to attend COP30, which shows the UK’s commitment to tackle climate change in the interests of our national security and prosperity.

“In order to make the most of his visit, and as a G7 leader, we encourage the PM to commit to invest – alongside other nations and businesses – in the innovative new Tropical Forest Forever Facility, which will keep forests standing. Doing so will underpin our future food security and ensure a more stable future for all of us.”
