WWF Statement on Prime Minister's Speech to UN General Assembly

Commenting on the Prime Minister's speech to the UN General Assembly, David Walsh, head of public affairs at WWF said:

“The Prime Minister is right to say that only by working to solve global problems such as climate change can we build a safer and more prosperous UK and that government must act urgently to tackle the climate and nature crises.

“From global action at the COP summits this autumn, to cutting the UK’s environmental footprint and paying our fair share of international climate and nature finance, it is time for genuine leadership to rebuild the UK's credibility on the global stage."
