WWF Up Close: Stories in the Wild (half-day)

Go behind the scenes with the people driving WWF’s work forward. Hear real stories from frontline teams, join conservation workshops with science experts, and roll up your sleeves for hands‑on activities like local clean ups, citizen science or community conservation projects. 

Proposed as a half‑day in‑person event typically run on weekends at rural or coastal locations across the UK, with time for welcome, talks and activities.

Our Feel Good Forest Trails, in partnership with Forestry England, have been designed to help young people and their families get their daily dose of nature.

Wild Days Out: Family Adventures in Nature (half-day)

Enjoy a relaxed, family‑friendly day out in nature. Join guided walks, take part in outdoor activities like building bug hotels or simple citizen‑science projects, and hear short, inspiring talks from WWF experts – all designed to help you connect more deeply with nature.

Proposed as a half‑day in‑person event typically run on weekends at rural or coastal locations across the UK, with time for welcome, talks and activities.

Wild Web: Explore Our World from Home (midweek online series)

Join live online evening sessions with conservationists, wildlife experts and photographers. Explore success stories, hear about current challenges and take part in interactive Q&As – all from the comfort of home.

Proposed as a series of mid-week online evening talks up to 45 minutes in length.

Who are these events for?

Everyone. Whether you’re a long‑time member, a family with children or brand new to WWF, you’ll find a warm welcome and activities for all ages and backgrounds.

Will the events be accessible?

We aim to host in‑person events regionally where possible, with online options for anyone unable to travel. You’re welcome to bring a guest – we know it can make joining new experiences feel easier.

How much will the events cost?

Some events may include a suggested donation to help cover costs.
