Thank you to everyone who wrote to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, urging them to get products responsible for deforestation off UK shelves. Thousands of you took this action demanding change.

The UK government has not yet responded to your demand – but we’re not going to let them forget the promises they made to protect forests. We’ll continue to apply pressure on leaders to put this law in place. And with COP30, the annual global climate conference, happening in the Amazon this November, our leaders have the perfect opportunity to seize the chance to protect forests.
