Based on a global survey of over 500 business leaders in 19 countries, this report looks how businesses are engaging with the net-zero, nature-positive transition. It also looks at how climate, nature and social issues are being addressed and asked how the three can be better integrated.
The findings show overwhelming support for taking action on the environment by business leaders around the world. They also agree that businesses have a responsibility to ensure the transition is fair.
But the results also show that respondents are worried about a two-speed transition. Progress is uneven across sustainability priorities, businesses sizes and geographies, with access to finance a key barrier.
This report will help pave a way forward for businesses and policy makers to accelerate action and keep people at the heart of the transition.
