Quantifying the Potential Contribution of Saltmarshes and Seaweed Farming to Mitigating Nutrient Pollution in Norfolk
This report explains the issue of excess nutrients and outlines where these nutrients come from, how they move through the landscape, and where they end up as they travel from the Norfolk catchment to the coast. The report also explores how saltmarsh restoration and seaweed farming could help tackle this problem. These nature-based approaches show promise for reducing nutrient pollution in coastal waters by naturally absorbing and storing excess nutrients.
