We can't burn BP's newfound oil without climate impacts, warns WWF

Alec Hutchings, WWF’s chief climate adviser said: "The science is clear - we can’t burn any of BP’s newfound oil and gas if we want the best chance of avoiding devastating climate impacts.

“It’s deeply concerning that BP continues to pursue fossil fuel expansion when the evidence shows that clean, renewable energy is not only better for the climate and nature, but increasingly makes the most economic sense. This is a moment for leadership and investing in tomorrow’s technologies, not yesterday’s.”
