Why we must act now
Nature is disappearing everywhere – and Scotland is one of the most nature-depleted countries on the planet.
One in nine species in Scotland is at risk of extinction. Our wild places are being lost. Threats include climate change, some current farming methods, urbanisation and other pressures.
The next Scottish Government and Parliament could be the most important in our history. The decisions are being made now - about nature restoration, farming, and energy.
What political parties commit to now will have a direct impact on our future. It’s time for bold action.
Speak up for nature
Who’s that knocking on your door?
Spring is in full swing and so are preparations for the Scottish election on the 7 May. You might have MSP candidates or campaigners stopping by, so we’ve pulled together some environment focused questions you can ask.
Put this poster in your window or save these questions somewhere handy so those hoping to become your next MSP know that you care about nature and the environment. Download your free copy below.
It's in our nature to step up
The good news? We already have the answers.
Our manifesto is an action plan to build the best future for Scotland.
These are our key asks:
- Repair and protect nature
- Urgent climate action
- Clean energy transformation
- Transform agriculture
We’re not saying it’s easy. We’re saying it’s essential.
And it will only work if our politicians are up to the task.
