Scotland to show leadership on climate justice

Commenting on the announcement today (Mon) that the Scottish Government is give funding to help some of the world’s most vulnerable communities recover from and build resilience against climate change [1] Lang Banks, director at WWF Scotland said:

“It’s good to see the Scottish Government reiterate its pledge to climate justice, recognising the fact that most of those impacted hardest by climate change did least to cause the problem.

“We particularly welcome the focus to support countries to recover and adapt from the impacts of climate change that are already being felt. This is an important issue that we hope to see real progress on during the COP26 summit.”
