About the challenge

Our Tanzania Challenge will bring you closer to WWF's work and the incredible wildlife and landscapes we support. During the first half of the trip, you'll join Maasai guides and trek through the captivating African bush. The spectacular route passes Mt. Kitumbeine, the game-filled plains of Nagarirat and the escarpment of the Rift Valley.

Following your exhilarating trek, the adventure continues with two unforgettable days visiting WWF Tanzania’s inspiring conservation projects across the region. Guided by passionate local experts, you’ll learn about WWF's efforts to protect wildlife and empower communities. Witness first-hand how nature-based farming - such as beekeeping projects, sunflower cultivation, and sustainable poultry farming - is transforming lives and landscapes. There will also an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and make a real impact through planting native trees, clearing invasive species, and helping safeguard precious freshwater sources.

We're offering an WWF goody bag to anyone who registers for the challenge by 30th November 2026. Inside your goody bag you can expect WWF branded trekking kit and perhaps a cuddly toy or two!
