Around the world, how we produce our food is devastating nature – we’re losing species and habitats, and it’s accelerating climate change. In fact, agriculture and land use is responsible for almost 60% of global biodiversity loss and 30% of greenhouse gas emissions. With global supply chains and ever-increasing demand, it’s a complex issue, but there are things that can help.

At home, we can make small changes to our daily diets that are easy to stick to, affordable, and help protect nature in the UK and around the world. So, how can you #Eat4Change?

Here are some of the challenges in this app that support a more sustainable diet:

  • Fight food waste
  • Shake up your meals
  • Cut the cow’s milk
  • Take a break from meat

At WWF, we’re doing our bit by calling on the whole industry to play their part. From the UK government to retailers and businesses, we need everyone to step up to the plate and take stronger action to reduce emissions, cut food loss and waste, and restore nature to create a strong and sustainable food system that’s healthy for people and the planet.

We know we can’t #FixTheFoodSystem alone, but if we all take action now, we can help bring our world back to life.
