Thank you so much for taking part in Great Wild Walks at Cannock Chase!

We're so grateful for all of your fundraising support so far.

If you still have fundraising to pay in, you can do this by adding to your justgiving page, or you can pay your donations in via our website, and then selecting 'GREAT WILD WALKS' in the drop down menu.

Love it. Walk it. Save it.

Key Information

Travel information: We are encouraging everyone to travel to our events by public transport. The nearest station is Rugeley Trent Valley or Rugeley Town. For more information, please see our FAQ’s. Where this is not possible, we will have a car park reserved for the event, next to the event site. Parking for the day costs £5 and must be purchased in advance. (Link to follow soon)

Facilities: Toilets, water station, refreshments

Route: You will be able to choose from a 5 or 10 mile route on the day. Routes will be signed and marshalled on the day and digital maps will be sent out nearer to the event

Accessibility:  Please note that Cannock Chase is a hilly forest area, with the 5 Mile route taking in at least two hills. Across both the 5 and 10 mile routes there is a mix of compacted forest floor and some areas of large gravel type pathway – which might make access difficult for those bringing pushchairs or using wheelchairs. Whilst we aim to make the 5 mile route accessible for all-terrain wheelchairs and pushchairs, please contact the team to discuss if you are unsure at fundraising@wwf.org.uk.

Sustainability: We are making our events as sustainable as possible.
